You Cannot Prove the Existence of God

Really? We always hear this banded about as if it alone is a reason not to believe God or The Bible. OK granted – technically you may not be able to empirically (though many Christians in science and mathematics and physics will tell you you can as the odds of creation spontaneously happening are impossible – especially if the universe is only as old as they the nay-sayers say it is).

But let’s just think for a minute and ask ourselves a question; exactly what would God have to do in the natural – the realm the scientist insist on reducing everything to – or what does he need to create to prove his existence that isn’t in the form of a note that drops out of the sky with his handwriting on, or without his voice actually booming out of the heavens?

Not seeing the wood for the trees

Is there some type of exquisite creature He could create to impress upon us that He exists – and how would it be any more impressive that the bazillion creatures of an unfathomable exoticness that are already in existence – some of which are SO exquisite that their design almost seems pointless if it wasn’t simply to impress upon us the existence of a creator.

Take these two things – a buttercup and a Lamborghini. Which is the most impressive? Why are we humans so easily suckered into believing nonsense and all kinds of puerile marketing and give importance to all kinds of things that really have no importance to us eternally – and when placed side by side with the ‘simplest’ of God’s creations it pales into total insignificance when you consider the complexity and design of one against the other.

Which design is really the most impressive? You decide
