Climate Change

Where Does The “97% Scientists Agree” on Climate Change Science Come From?

OK – what the climate scientists are saying may be true – I’m not saying it isn’t because I’m not a scientist. My gut feeling (from past experience of 2 almost identical end-of-the-world predictions – one in 1977 and one in the 90’s with a carbon copy of Gretta’s speech – both of which you can watch on the amazing site that is YouTube) is that there is a high likelihood that not all is as it seems – these days usually by omission or otherwise.

Is this true or a lie?.. I don’t know

Yesterday a video popped up by some fellow and when I realised what it was about I was bored already but I let it play and this is what he said – true of not? I don’t know – as always – you must research the researchers because nowadays so much money is involved that there are many people in all fields of science and industry and politics that will happily tell fibs about just about anything. Here is what he said;

“Where does the 97% of scientists agree actually come from? Well – there was a paper called the Cook paper which found that 66,4 % abstracts (the paragraph summary at top of a paper or science article) from 11,000 climate articles expressed NO opinion on man made global warming. Of those that did – 97% said there is likely a strong connection. So it’s actually 97% of a 1/3 scientists – not all scientists.”

“We should never be married to a theory – only my wife” (said 1 scientist)

Don’t get mad at me – he said it. Watch the video (I will post this speech/video here when I can find it as I have lost the page) and then do your own research to see if he is just another telling pork-pies to make a living. It may be the climate scientists are right – even though they have been wrong many times before with their models – perhaps they are now much better. In any case we MUST look after our planet and stop trashing its – chopping down endless forests and stop making everything under the sun out of plastic. Let’s go back to paper and glass – or at least things that can easily be recycled.
