As people are busy asking all the wrong questions like; is being in the European Union good or bad for our pockets or the countries economy? (yes I actually said that), Peter Hitchens describes in detail below what not many people realise about the real nature of the European Union, coupled with his Biblical knowledge of man’s fallen nature and natural bent towards constantly expanding his power at almost any cost – usually the people’s – the ‘simpletons’ that the unelected beurocrats at Brussels want to lord over, as they see we the people as unfit to decide who makes the decisions.
It amounts to no more than what I call 21st century power grabbing – power grabbing using brains and financial means rather than force – something that would no longer be tolerated in today’s world. There’s nothing wrong with trading and integrating to some degree, but brains are useless without wisdom, and wisdom is missing from the whole ‘let’s become one giant happy EU Super-State under unelected leaders and hope they will not become corrupt (or more corrupt should I say). Oh and by the way we can never remove them should they become so’ – project.
And this has nothing to do with racism, or the people’s of Germany or France – didn’t Jesus say we should pay no attention to bloodlines or genealogies – and that we are all one blood? He was right! No – it’s only to do with the leaders of this ridiculous if it wasn’t so scary take-over project to do away with democracy in Europe – of Winston Churchill wisely said; “Democracy is the worst form of government, except all the others!”
20 years ago I explained to a group of Christians at a local house group that Germany and France were seeking to create a European super-state lead by Germany, and also that China would rise to challenge the West along side Russia at some point in the future, and it was laughed off as conspiratorial nuttiness. The thing is, that The Bible actually tells us in no uncertain terms than men will gather together and conspire – in other words they get together and make conspiracies happen, and the other fact is, men have always done this since time began.
Notice it’s always big business and politicians pushing to stay in the European Union; big business because the EU squishes their small but numerous competition with 1001 hoops they cannot afford to jump through and politicians because that’s where their future bread lies
Anyway – I was, and still am still no historian and this ‘knowledge’ was not something I found out by doing research – at the time I had no knowledge of such matters and only watched the news, however there is a gift The Bibles calls discernment, so this understanding must have been given to me my by the Spirit of God (remember God promises to teach even the unlearned and reveals things to the children – a beautiful concept) so I simply repeated to the Christian friends what I had heard from The Small Still Voice, and by the sounds of it there have been a fair number of people since 1870 – when this project seems to have begun if you ignore all the other ‘types’ of attempts to create single unions like Babylon etc – that have known what the European Union is all about, but probably because they are knowledgable of the historical unlike I was until recently.
The question; in or out of Europe, goes far beyond is it good for our pockets?
It’s really a question of; will God bless anyone who knowingly aligns themselves with such a Godless form of government as the EU government? My answer to that has to be no – God will not bless those who willingly signup to what amounts to – or at least the end will amount to a socialist government of unelected b-Eurocrats. Of course we know The European Union ‘government’ if we can call it that, will try to make our life hard regardless of if we are in or out, but who cares?.. and what’s more important?; doing the right thing and being Godly, or worrying about our pockets? Unfotunately pockets normally win out in these matters.
God did us a favour when he divided the people and effectively created borders in Babylon – it was to give mankind a hope of salvation by limiting his power and stopping him destroying himself
My real fear, is by not coming out, or not voting at all, God will not bother to vote either, and we will get – having thrown God out with the bath water and therefore opening ourselves up to deception – what we deserve, and all the lives that were sacrificed to stop us from being ruled by others so we could even have this debate freely, let alone have it in English, will is lost in an instant with no chance of ever regaining it.

The same scenario that is predicted for mankind’s last days under the soon to be (by the looks of it) world government if we are to believe what the Clintons, Soros and many others actually say on video about the new borderless world they are building for us – how kind of them I must say – all sounds so good on paper, but apparently God likes borders around cells, and borders around countries, and we all have walls in our houses to keep the rain out, borders around our homes and business, and borders in 10,000 other places to maintain order.
But of course, who needs to worry about keeping order using God’s preferred method we see in The Bible – namely limitations to power with borders and other checks and balances, when you have RFID/GPS technology paired with what will soon be total control of digital money, and ultimately everyone on the planet’s bread? This is quite a scary scenario for normal folk like you and me, but for any self-ordained king or megalomaniac, it’s dream come true. Let’s get one thing straight; man is fallen – therefore we need checks, balances, borders and limits to power until the Lord comes and brings the real and lasting peace and safety we keep hearing banded about by hapless politicians unaware of their own need.
Remember when you read this that we have been told in no uncertain terms by countless Whitehouse officials and one very senior official in particular that; “in the 21st century the world will become borderless and answerable to a single world authority” – in other words – you don’t need to actually remove physical country borders to have a single world government. It will all be done electronically with electronic cash (remember the man who said; “give me control of the world’s money and care not ho runs the governments.”) borders serving no purpose but to placate the people an give the illusion that there is still some form of sovereignty left.
The people would never accept it if someone stepped in and removed all the countries borders in one go – the cat would be out and the people would revolt. No – the frog must be boiled slowly – and that is what we see happening. We must realise this dream of a single world order or ‘new secular order’ as the back of the dollar bill says, goes back to beginning of time – it’s not new at all.
The fact is, if you don’t want the God of the Bible involved in governing the world – and most people don’t – a secular, socialist, single world government is actually the only possible solution for world ‘peace’ – in other word’s, an enforced peace and therefore not real, individually motivated, put-self-before-others, self-regulating peace, though as mentioned above, any enforced peace will never work longterm as we shall see played out, since concentrated power always goes sour at the top – even in the hands of Godly men as the founding fathers demonstrated they knew when they wrote the constitution – the best piece of legislation ever written outside of the 10 commandments (and incidentally these 10 little and not-to-burdensome laws really are the answer to ALL the world’s problems – too bad they have been removed from every law court, school, home, church and workplace – and we wonder why things have gone belly up – duh!?).
Every cell in your body has a border – each with a 1000 checks and balances for in/outgoing entities for a good reason!
If I wasn’t a Christian and knew the outcome of concentrating power in the hands of a few as with the EU and entities like it throughout history – namely that too much power in too few hands with inevitable and indefinitely (and there is never any question mark here) always leads to corruption and despotism, I too would be shouting from the rooftops; hey, let’s finally have a crime-free world by getting rid of all the borders and manage everything and everyone from a giant computer!.. oh and by the way… with me at the controls!
Well, it would work for a time for sure – but eventually I would become corrupt, and the short sighted people that think they invented this daft idea in the first place (it goes right back to the garden, before Babylon) will be ensnared not only by despotic me, but by the monster system they created – foolishly believing they can have some power-sharing agreement with this beast. This by the way was the reason the founding fathers of America – imperfect as they were were recognising this imperfection and tendency for corruption – were the first people in history to actually LIMITED THEIR OWN POWERS based on Biblical principles which I will argue is why despite all their wrong doings the USA (and please Google ‘Dinesh De Souza USA’ if you think the USA unequivocally stole everything it owns – a misrepresenting of the truth to turn the minds of easily manipulated and uneducated youngsters towards globalism – i.e the voters – as it trotted out by globalists everywhere) became the most blessed nation on earth – this is the exact opposite of the European Union that wields absolute power and wishes to become great by taking and staying that way indefinitely.

For starters; do any college students know the Sioux Indians took their land from the people before them – and the people before them took it from the people before them? No – because the globalists don’t want the voters to hear that. This does not make might right – but the fact is – nearly all borders and countries were created by war and conquest, and if we think the answer is to give back all the conquered lands to the original owners – then we must give the whole world back to Cane and Abel – and they need to give it back to God. Clearly impossible! The answer has to lie in repentance and reform – another Biblical principle and one we apply not only to nations but individuals.

In the finally analysis – God, as is described in the Bible, will rightly have no choice, just like in the days of Noah – to throw despots like me (if I really was running a single world government as mentioned above), any system that is corrupt, and everyone who wantonly signed up for it to hell in a hand-basket.
