There is absolutely NO question about it: I have NOT searched anything related to stocks and shares in the last week – or month – or year. I have no interest in it or money other than living and eating. However – I have (3 days ago) had a long conversation with my nephew who IS very interested in them – in fact he has just started a company to trade them on other people’s behalf. The conversation we had was in-depth and all about trading stocks, bonds, gold, commodities, groups of investments and so on.
We all knew it was happening – but hoped it wasn’t…
Now it’s one thing having our search (typed) data stolen from under our noses amass heaps of small-print that no human can be bothered to read or understand and our profiles and likes and tastes and location and political views etc sold to advertising companies – but 3 days after my ‘stocks’ conversation, I was presented with the page below in all it’s ‘innocuous’ glory – of all things on my own website – the irony!
Make of it what you will but rest assured – they are watching, and listening, and making notes and, creating profiles and who knows what else. But if you’ve done nothing wrong – you’ve nothing to hide right?
