God says if you “love not the truth” (meaning if you love and seek after truth – we don’t necessarily always know what the truth is – that is what The Bible and The Holy Spirit is given to us for) he will send spirits to test us! He says he will send us ‘strong delusion’!
But the Bible says – we should seek after truth and we should be testing the spirits that we encounter held up to the light of The Bible (and not any old Bible translation or against commentaries) and The Holy Spirits still small voice.
How do we do this? The Bible tells us in Amos 3:7; “surely the lord God will do nothing that he revealeth his secrets unto his servants the prophets.” We must test what we are told against what’s been published in The Bible and according to The Bible – a real prophet must be right 100% of the time.
