Scientists Say The Answer To Global Warming & Climate Change is To Plant Trees

This has to be a joke – they’ve done it again. Well duh! Haven’t we all been saying that for 30+ years and been shouted down for being so out of touch and unknowledgeable about the ‘data’ and the ‘facts’. You cut down half the Amazon – the lungs of the world we were taught as children in the 70’s and probably before – and then wonder why CO2 may not be being absorbed in quite the same amounts as it used to be and other strange unexpected things are happening.

Oh – and ignore that ball of fire in the sky thousand of times the size of earth that actually keeps us all warm in the first place and who’s absence when it goes down at night is whey we all freeze at night  – that couldn’t possibly have anything to do with it – no – it’s our rampant use of cars and petrol – oh and plastic bags.

This is getting embarrassing

What is it with these scientists? Why is it children can see the answers to their questions decades before they’ve squandered millions of pounds of funding on ‘research’ only to find out what we all knew all along – this is a pattern I’ve seen over and over. It reminds me of the story of the old band of theologians sitting over the hill that were greeted by sceptics upon their reaching the summit of knowledge – only to find the theologians had been there all along.

Wait – did I say funding? Ahh… therein may lie the problem.

We should marry academics and data with plain old fashioned common sense thinkers

Look – I have been saying this for years when confronted by climate panickers that planting trees is the answer – and I know pretty much nothing when it comes to real clever science. There’s no doubt, there are some academics out there who are incredible – but I do have common sense – something that seems lost in the sands of our politically correct times.

Let’s get out there and plant some trees, and yes – stop using plastic on everything when we can use glass, paper and some of the 101 other incredible inventions these scientists I have been a rather unfair on have created that is truly amazing!

Yes – let’s look after the planet!

Let’s look after our seas, and fish and wildlife and everything else we are blessed with with over-consumption and by not trashing the place. I’ll go back to glass and things that can be reused tomorrow if pressure is put on the supermarkets – let’s face it – they are the culprits in this mess.
