Do we define Christianity by the crusades? Or Hinduism by Graham Stains and his boys being put in a van and burned to death? Or Muslims by killings of innocent men, women and children by ISIS? No! We judge the system on which the system is based.
For Catholicism we have the Bible. For Islam we have the Quran. For Hinduism we have the Vedic texts. Only now we can judge the system – by judging the actions of the believers and adherents against the books they claim to live their lives according to.
