We all hear this phrase day in day out right?… but the question we would be wise to ask is; is religion really the cause of all wars?
The Facts
The first world war killed more people than all the religious wars put together – so first off let’s not imagine that atheists fair any better (Stalin ‘wonderful’ utopia responsible for 100 million deaths?) but no – religion is not the cause of all the wars and it is a numerical fact that more wars have been fought over land and resources – ie coveting other people’s stuff than over religion. In fact this 1 simple command could solve everything if adhered to; Thou Shalt Not Covert.
What this goes to prove is precisely what Adolf Hitler and many other dictators and these days modern leftists knew to be true, that is; that if you say and repeat something often enough it will become known as the truth.
