Yep – with new technology being developed faster than I can type, we all knew it was coming, and it’s actually buried in several US health bills so will not affect those of us outside The United States for some time. It’s the next step in the ‘evolution’ of healthcare – that soon, in order to get it, one will have to opt-in to swallowing or at least somehow accepting into your body, a small micro-chip that contains all your health and personal data, as well as monitor and deliver or more precisely activate the many nano-tech ‘cures’ that are being developed and successfully tested.
I say ‘cures’ since no man can reverse the curse and the ultimate ‘illness’ of death placed on mankind spoken of in Genesis because of his sin, and any attempt to do so will ultimately prove futile even if as has been reported and will eventually happen, scientists learn how to switch of the ‘dying gene’. The reason God did this was as a kind of damage limitation mechanism to limit the damage mans sin could do to himself, others and the planet and allow enough time for God to save those that love Him. Can you imagine if people like Hitler lived more than 90 years?!
It’s actually old news but…
One ‘cure’ for instance is newish news (though I actually heard about it several years back in a UK newspaper) whereby gold-coated particles can be activated to target and destroy cancer cells on command. This cure will be inextricably linked to this new kind of activation chip and so will not be available to anyone that for whatever reason choses to opt out, probably leaving one with the choice to use conventional – more hit-and-miss therapies that can and sometimes damage other parts of the body.
