Ever struggled with this? I have. It appears we should not be applying for the place we want – but first presenting our body as a sacrifice (remember God was the first one to do this), setting God renew our mind, then letting ourselves be thrust into the right service – which incidentally might not be at all what we wanted or were expecting.
But make no mistake – nothing less with ever satisfy our souls. So we don’t want to be creating our own path – I know – I’ve done it and paid and still paying the price. Here Derek Prince explains it fully. Walk and serve others in the small area you have been placed faithfully and you WILL be promoted.
