Difficult Issues

Be SOBER – Not Fanatical!

No this does not mean we cannot adhere to EVERY truth in The Bible and speak about it openly and plainly and with fervour. And we all know most Christians and Christianity has in the main gone soft because people are fearful of standing out, or losing their job and income, and churches are desperate to keep their 501 status and perks.

Think of Your Future Brothers & Sisters in Your Cozy Living Room!

BUT, the way some Christians behave on the internet is just the sort of behaviour the anti-God lobby will need, and dredge up when it comes time to finally find an excuse to shut us up from speaking the truth and eventually lock us up! I am quite sure our future brothers and sisters will cringe when they are pulled before courts and shown and associated with some of the things we currently do and say from the comfort of our living rooms and have done on the internet.

Pastors and other well-meaning ‘bedroom bandits’ who are whipping up a frenzy surrounding end-times – YOU are storing up trouble for coming generations! Look how Jesus Christ behaved when he was asked or challenged on anything relating to truth, faith, what is right and wrong in society or end-times; Jesus Christ – you know, that person who’s character we are to emulate and be conformed to – was composed, very rarely aggressive (e.g when he turned over the money changers tables), in many cases silent – always SOBER and NEVER fanatical!

No one could ever accuse Jesus Christ of being or looking like a fanatical crazy man – unlike many Christians we see shouting and screaming and condemning their brothers and sisters on the web before they have removed the log from their own eyes!

Christians of the Future will go on Trial Retrospectively!

Please do not give the God haters of today an excuse in the future by letting your zeal for truth (which is great) get the better of you, as others in the future will pay the price for it as they go retrospectively back through the kinds of things Christians say and have said on the internet. Speak the truth yes – be bold yes – be loud if you have to, but speak it in love – not ranting and fanatically waving and pointing your fingers at ‘infidels’. There is no such thing to a real Christian moulded and conformed to the image of Christ – only people who need love, correction and help.
